Hi...I have a question I hope someone on the collectors board can answer.....going through my grandmothers estate, I found a blue fluted candy dish from WDW, six panels depicting the lands of the MK with each panel separated by a stripe of thin white paint. This white stripe also encompasses the perimeter of the dish. I know my aunt also has this plate but hers is trimmed in gold accents, not white. Does anyone here know the manufacture dates on these plates, if one was sold before the other and if one is more valuable than the other? Thanks for any info.

I have a few of these and have seen a few others in the local antique stores. They go from 3 to 4 bucks to some I have seen around 8. I paid about 4 bucks each for the 4 or 5 I have....

These were produced by a company called HouzeArt. They did a lot of ashtrays and stuff for the tourists of many cities.

They were sold in both parks early-mid 70's. The ones trimmed in gold with smoke or deep blue glass were the first ones. Specifically, the fluted dish you describe was the last color version to be sold in WDW (approx 1984, maybe 85).

Routinely seen on eBay going off without a bid.
