Well I hear they changed the menu again, took away the pirates theme and wedge salad ( I hated that salad ) and there is a new updated menu. Anyone have a site for it so I can plan accordingly? thanks
I don't know if they changed the menu completely since the last time I went was for lunch and I usually eat there for dinner, but yes, the salad isn't the wedge anymore. But the salad itself is practically the same, just not in wedge form. Although I don't remember if there was sausage, there might have been. I had the gumbo.
Disneyland needs a couple good family restauarants like the Plaza Inn and one grown up deluxe restaurant. Recently I have eaten at the Blue Bayou and the menu had been downgraded to pirate theming, cutesy stuff, and generic foods that can be had anywhere else for cheaper usually. I was served veggies which were ok, a chunk of chicken and plain rice noodles. I could have bought the rice noodles with marinara sauce for around $10 or less at Pizza Port and got me a baked chicken dinner at Plaza Inn with REAL MASHED POTATOS for about $15. So for the money I was getting everyday food for a lot of bucks.
I think this is what Disneyland needs in restaurants a high class upscale restaurant. I am looking forward to the new menu. Also notice that Cafe Orleans will be table service.
I read they just updated the menu recently. This year. Allears.net has the Blue Bayou menus updated on 02/09, but they still have the wedge salad listed. I heard the salad wasn't a wedge anymore.
I've also heard either they are going to or already did remove all the appetizers and make them entrees.
Cafe Orleans has always been table service. Did you mean the French Market?
I love CO because it is nice to sit and have a waitress rather than use a tray and find a seat. My favorite restaurant in DL.
Sorry but I specifically asked Google only for articles from the last month and the stupid thing gave me a 2006 article. I should be punished for my stupidity, let me see if I can find the newer article after I blow up Google. I cannot believe I was so stupid as to not find a 2009 article.
I guess that person who said I posted wrong info was right.
I was referring to a person from another site who gave me trouble and not to corpsebride. She was correct and I am not mad at her. Just my low self esteem talking as some guy once made me realize how bad I am at information.
I don't think Corpsebride was rude at all. You posted wrong info; she corrected you (and she did it very nicely I would add). That's the issue when you rely on Internet info rather than personal experience--it's too easy to pull up wrong information.

It's my favorite restaurant in DL too! I so wish they were doing breakfast still--that was my special time--to sit outside and watch the park come alive while eating Creole Eggs Benedict! Maybe they'll re-open it for breakfast for the summer (I hope I hope).
Are you getting excited for your wedding? (You must be)--it sounds like it is going to be completely fabulous!
