It sounds awesome.
If you've been there, what recommendations can you make?

Thanks in advance.

Get a PS at City Hall as soon as you get into the park.

Lunch is better than dinner.

Monte Cristo Sandwhich.

According to my sister and bro-in-law the clam chowder is to die for. I personally have never had it because I don't like seafood. But they say it is some of the best that they've had. Enjoy.:)

I agree, have lunch instead of dinner there. It isn't as busy then. I tried the Shrimp Etufee (I don't know if I spelled that right) the last time I went there and was in heaven. The Blue Bayo is my most favorite place to eat when I go to Disneyland. I think that anything you have there will be great!:D

And, as always, make a ressie as soon as you get into the park!

Don't wait until you get to the park to make a ressie. You can make one 30 days out by calling the DL dining ressies #.

<font color=navy>I enjoyed lunch there better than dinner (could have been the company :) ). I had the jambalaya, which was rice and I think it had bits of chicken, I don't quite remember. However, I do remember it was delicious, and I'd recommend that to anyone. :)

If you'd like to sit next to the water, be sure to request that, and expect to wait a little bit longer. But, I think it's worth it.

If you go for lunch make the Priority Seating for when it opens. (I think it's 1130am). Then arrive a few minutes earlier. They fill the restaurant from back (that's by the water) to front. So if your on of the first ones in you'll definitely get a seat at the water. We did this in September and it was one of the best things we did. Enjoy!

Definitely make reservations as soon as you get into the park. We usually grab a Fast Pass for Indy on the way over to make our reservations. If you're not having a late breakfast that day, plan for an early lunch so you can get a really nice table near the water. My favorite starter is the Mardi Gras Salad, the dressing and pecans are delicious! For the meal, my favorite is the pork lion, which comes with spiced apples, blue bayou potatoes, and veggies. My hubby's favorite dish is the jambalaya, with chicken and sausage. We're always too full for dessert, so I'm not sure what's even on the dessert menu. We usually head back to Main Street later on for ice cream.

I highly recommend trying the Blue Bayou, for us a trip to DL is just not complete with lunch there ;)

We like Blue Bayou best for lunch because that's the only time you can get Monte Cristos. The clam chowder is also terrific and I've enjoyed the crab cakes.
