Blue Bayou

So we decided to splurge and have our Anniversary dinner at the Blue Bayou. I've always wanted to eat there, and I think this will make for a special anniversary dinner!

When do they start serving dinner? We've got a 5:15 dinner reservation. I really want a table by the water. What should I do to greatly increase my chances?

Check into the Bayou 15 minutes before your meal and request a table seat by the water. You might have to wait up to an extra 45 minutes or so but its totally worth the wait, and by then they will definately be serving dinner

I would go in on time and request a water side table.... It would definitely be worth the wait, we ended up at the back near the restrooms and whilst the food was great it wasn't the same atmosphere. As said earlier by the time you have a table it will be a more dinner time hour.

When I called to make my reservations the last time we went to BB..I told them that it would be my husband's birthday.. and.. would like a seat by the water..He told me he put that down on my reservations but to remind them at the door..We didn't wait more than 25 minutes and got the perfect seats...

Thanks everyone! We did ask if we could put down that we wanted a table by the water, since it was our Anniversary. But she said we would have to let them know when we get there. We'll show up a bit early and ask to wait for one. I agree that the wait is worth it! I'm sure we'll enjoy the food too, but face it I want to go there for the great atmosphere!
