We ate there last year w/ my extremely picky 12yo. He ordered a plate of plain pasta with I think broccoli on the side. The waiter was great and it was a non-event.
That said, the 12yo still talks about that dinner as his favorite of the trip and wants to go back there when we return in December.
Perfect. Sounds like exactly what my kids will do. They dont even mind "weird bread" as long as its not spicy/hot. My kids are this way with Be Our Guest, they still mention it as their favorite meal at WDW ever! They literally ate french fries, tons of rolls and butter, and "the grey stuff"-- magical! They loved the ambience/themeing that's why Id like to make Blue Bayou happen for them. I think they'd love the setting.
