I read on these boards that the Monte Cristos at Cafe Orleans come out of the same kitchen as Blue Bayou so I was surprised that the 'meat lovers' Monte Cristo features on the menu at BB but not the Three Cheese version that's on CO's menu. Do they do that in BB? Already have a ps booked at CO and thought that I'd book BB as well - we would eat something different from the BB menu but doesnt look like there's anything much DD will eat (she's a fussy veggie) but if they'll do the 3 cheese MC it might be on the cards.

The Blue Bayou only serves the Monte Cristo that has turkey, ham, and swiss cheese. (And it's only on BB's lunch menu.)

Nope 3cheese is only available at CO and the regular Monte cristo is only available on the BB lunch menu and plus it's cheaper at CO!!:)

I am allergic to eggs. I have never tried one:sad1:Do you think I could somehow make a request for them to figure out how to whip up an egg free one?????:wizard:

Don't know for sure, but I don't see why not....they could coat it with something like tempura batter, which contains no eggs. I'd call ahead of time and ask to speak to a Chef there. :thumbsup2

Augh, don't waste a BB visit on an entree that's available elsewhere (and for a lot less money). Both versions of that sandwich are available at Cafe Orleans and they're available during both lunch and dinner. If you're going to the trouble/expense of dining at BB, order exclusive items. :)

DH and I would def order something else - just need an option for DD who is ultra fussy.:goodvibes

We are not doing BB this trip as the last two visits have been less than stellar and way overpriced. We are having lunch at CO and will try and order the egg free version there:goodvibes

Just remember that at CO you get NO starters (soup/salad) and NO sides. If you're fine with that then go to CO, they are the same sandwich.
