Does anyone know if you can get a good Monte Cristo sandwich at WDW (any park or surrounding Disney area)? I love the one at the Blue Bayou at DL, but can't seem to find an equivalent at WDW.
Sorry, I don't believe that any restaurant on WDW property serves this. (The closest you can get is the Croque Monsieur sandwich at Chefs de France lunch, which is toasted, not fried.)
Years ago they had an awesome awesome one at MK....either Pin. Village House or Columbia House...can't remember. It's been gone for a good 10 years and I get so bummed out everytime I'm there!
Earl of Sandwich doesn't fry their sandwiches, they run them through an oven to toast them, so if they have anything similar it's probably an approximation but not the real thing.
Unfortunately, you are out of luck. The Monte Cristo from the Blue Bayou (one of the best restaurants in the entire realm of Disney properties) is unique to that magnificent eatery.

You can get one at the Bennigan's right by the Downtown Disney Resort area. Not sure if it is as good though. The best one I have ever had was at the Ritz-Carlton Reynolds Plantation in Greensboro, GA. So hungry now!!
Granted, I don't know how good the food is at Club 33, but it isn't everyday that you get to eat there. I would love to go to Club 33 one day...but I think my odds of winning the lottery are higher than that ever happening. The Monte Cristo is good...but I don't know if it is THAT good.
My mouth is WATERING as I look at the photo of the Monte Cristo sandwich. My DH and I had one at DL 20 years ago when we lived in CA for a short time. Now we always go to WDW because it's closer to where we currently live. Why DON'T they have a Monte Cristo Sandwich at WDW???? They're definately THE BEST !!!!!!!!!!!
