If we made PS and just went to share one cookie boat between the four of us (two adults, a 4 yo and 2yo), would that be a problem? Is there a "split plate" charge for desserts? Also, if we went for lunch and got one monte cristo and one kids meal for the four of us, but did not request them to be split, would we still be charged for splitting them?

I think the split plate charge applies when you want it to actually be split onto different plates, but I could be wrong...

Yes, the split plate charge applies to them actually bringing out two plates, but then you get two sets of sides, etc. as well. You can share your own plates after they bring it to the table if you want.
