The search button isn't working for me :( Froze my computer.

How far in advance do they take reservations? Which menus is better: lunch or dinner? I've only been for lunch (had a water-side table, and hated that).

I believe it's 90 days in advance, gosh could be 60. Why oh why did you hate sitting waterside? Those are the most requested tables, that's the whole reason we like to go. In my opinion, I'd go for lunch. Things are cheaper and honestly, it's dark in there anyway so whether it's day or night you can't tell anyway.

It was the passengers on the ride who screwed the experience for me. They were yelling to throw things at them, someone threw something towards the restaurant and I ahd a ton of flashes og off in my face from the ride. I wasn't hapy about it at all.

It is 60 days. I just made my reservations yesterday for our trip and they mentioned it on the phone.

I have to say though, this is the first time I have made advanced reservations. I've always just made reservations in person our first day in park for a couple days out and have never been told they are booked (Middle of August last trip and no problems getting a table). I did it early more for ease than anything else this time.

Last time I went I made on in the park the day that I was there. Trying to be prepared this time, lol. Thanks, again!

I just called and made our reservations now, as well as for a character breakast. Yay!

What character breakfast are you doing? So far we've done Ariel's, Chip & Dale's and Minnie & Friends ~ next week we'll have breakfast at Goofy's and possibly brunch @ Ariel's. I hope to visit the Lilo & Stitch one when we make it out to DLR again.

We went with Minnie & Friends :D I'm really looking forward to it.

It's 60 days in advance. I'd say dinner. Have a nice wind down dinner. The atmosphere is so cool. Check in a bit early and ask for a waterside table.

I didn't have that experience, but I don't care for waterside seating myself. In my case it's b/c of the long-term after-effects from Lasik, in that I'm nearly blind for way too long when going from a lighted area to a dark area. So I have to hold onto hubby while going into BB, and I have to make sure to NOT look at the doors to the outside, b/c the light from them will blind me again and I have to start all over.

If we go again I'll ask for the closest to the door seats so I can read the menu shortly after sitting down, rather than having to wait for my vision to come back.

Glad you made your reservation!

Oh man, I'm sorry the waterside didn't work out for you last time. We love waterside, we ask for it every time and we get it. :) We are ok with waiting a while longer to get it. :) I'm glad you made your PS, and we love M&F breakfast!! Good choices IMO! :)

I'm hoping that was just a one-time experience. I know my friend who I'm going with prefers water-side, so I'm pretty sure we'll be giving it a try. It better turn out better, lol. Otherwise I doubt I'll ever go for it again.

bummer about waterside seating! We've been about 5 times, and maybe twice we've had a bad experience. It seemed like every boat was yelling to the waterside tables! It did take away from it a bit, but I didn't pay them any attention- that's what they want :)

60 days in advance, last Christmas made mine on the first day possible :cool1:

Wow, I had Lasik done several years ago, and I have never had that problem. I'm sorry.

We just ignore them, too, if they say anything; we've never had a problem. DH says they are just yelling because they are jealous of us. ;)

Well, we like to sit in the BB and wave at the boats so that doesn't really bother us. We just ignore the yelling part. :)

It might have bothered me so much because I was on that trip all by my lonesome for my birthday and didn't have anything else to distract me. We'll give it another try and hopefully it will have different results!
