So I waited too long to get a reservation online for the Blue Bayou/Fantasmic dinner package for the first show during my trip. Does anybody know if you can get the BB/F package as a walk up?

I would keep checking online because people's plans do change. Otherwise, you'll have to check at the restaurant to see if they have any openings. Blue Bayou is one of the few places in DLR that seem to turn away walk-ups more often than not, so be prepared to be told that they do not have any available that day because they are fully booked.

While a walk up reservation is always a possibility, the probability during a busy time and at the last minute essentially, is extremely poor to zilch for occurring. But....it will not hurt to try anyway. Call Disney dining everyday. If by the time your visit rolls around, keep on calling and go in person to Blue Bayou first chance you have. Reservations are always evolving. So if there is no availability at the time still, there may be by the next time you call or look on line.
You might have a better chance to secure a reservation for the Blue Bayou without the F! package. You can do FP for F! So, a nice dinner at Blue Bayou then go see F! Or in reverse.

As the PPs said, keep checking online to see if a reservation becomes available. BB is one of the few restaurants that is often fully booked and since you are looking for a F! reservation for the first show it limits your time even more. You could try walking up as a last resort. We've seen groups lined up prior to the restaurant's opening asking if there are any reservations available and often there aren't any so be prepared with Plan B - maybe FP for the first show or try checking for a reservation at River Belle Terracel.

I should clarify this was just for a BB reservation not the package. Packages are prepaid and usually not cancelled.

The F! dining package require pre-payment? When I looked into it, it only requires a credit card guarantee like all other TS reservations.

We did it yesterday and did not prepay. Got our DVC discount and paid after we finished eating.

IIRC, you can make same-day reservations at City Hall. Could save the fast walk to BB from the front gate.

You don't have to pre-pay, just need a credit card to reserve. However, there is not an option to cancel online, like there is with all the other reservations.

I was able to cancel my RBT F! package online. I would think you could do the same for BB.
