Blue Bayou Fantasmic package... which showing?

Is it even possible to do Blue Bayou Fantasmic dinner and get the 1st showing?

Will I be able to tell what show we're going to get when making reservations online or will I need to call?

When I booked I got the second show, but one of waiters gave me the option of the first show as we dined. Maybe worth ringing up to see if they can book you for the first show then booking online.

We did it in June and had the first showing. Our dinner was at 6pm I think. And it did say "first showing" when I got my confirmation. I booked online.

It will tell you when you book which show but most report being able to ask for a specific one.

The lunch seems to be 11-130 is first show at 145-4 is second and dinner is 4-6 first and 630-whenever is second.

I logged in today to get our Blue Bayou Dining Package. We want the lunch so I put in 11:30am and it came up with 1:30 the only time so I took it. It was the 2nd showing. Again, I took it and had my DD call on the phone to try to change it as I was trying again. Still showed 1:30 and the 2nd showing. My DD, after about 30 minutes on hold, tried again and we got the 11:30 lunch and the 1st showing. Happy Dance!

My friend told me and she said that she has gotten the dining package once as the only reservation they could get. When they arrived they said they didn't want the dining package and the restaurant changed it for them. She also said that the restaurant will work with you on the showing you prefer.

I was just happy that we got what we wanted to begin with.

Ok - great. We're wanting to do like a 4:30-5pm dinner and want the 1st showing.

I always book right as they switch over from lunch to dinner in the 4:30-5pm range and get the first show. My reservations for next week (OMG it's next week!!!!) are for 4:50pm and are for the first showing.

We booked a lunch package and reservations said it was for second show, which we wanted. The waitress gave us tix for the first show but switched them to the second when we asked.

The menu and pricing are different. You sit in the same section for the actual show and get the seat cushions with both meals. DD7 and I did F! lunch last month and really enjoyed it. The slightly lower price helped the budget for sure and I've booked the lunch again for Veterans Day weekend with DD13. For all the show dining packages we've done (Hungry Bear, RBT and BB for F! as well as WCT for WoC) we've always been asked which showing of the performance we wanted FPs for, even though the booking time specified 1st or 2nd show.
