Blue Bayou Fantasmic dining when POTC is closed?

Hi,

I know it is not 100% confirmed as yet, but I have heard that POTC may be closed when we visit (from 14th September). We currently have a Fantasmic booking for Blue Bayou on 19th Sept.

I was wondering if anyone had experience with dining at Blue Bayou when POTC is closed? We are travelling from Australia, so the whole experience is new for us. I have heard that the atmosphere at BB is great, and not sure if the closure of POTC would impact this. If so, should we change our booking to River Belle Terrace?

Any help or suggestions are appreciated!

I have reservations for Sept. 27th fantasmic package so I am wondering the same thing.

In May of 2014, BB was open while POTC was down. They had lowered the water level a bit, but that was the only thing that changed.

I think they said Sept 14-29 in another thread, they were quoting a park blog.

Dang. We arrive on the 29th. Shoot, I was hoping to do that on our first day. Maybe we will get lucky and it will be finished early...

It'd actually be pretty nice if BB stays open while POTC is closed. Then you wouldn't have every third boat yelling to ask how the food is.
