I'm wondering if anyone could give me an idea what time would be best to make dinner reservations for Blue Bayou. We would love to get a waterside table, but don't really want to wait an hour or more in order to get it. There are lots of threads on what time is best to reserve a table for lunch, but I could not find a consensus for dinner.
If it helps, I will be trying to get a reservation on a Thursday evening, during off season (Feb, week prior to President's Day). We are not too picky about when we eat. We are just the two of us for dinner. Is early dinner (4-4:30pm) less busy than a later dinner around 6:30-7pm? Would I have a better chance at not waiting forever for a waterside table at one of these times than the other?
I know that reviews for BB are mixed, but the consensus is that everyone should try it at least once and since it's our first trip to DL, I think we should at least check it out. We are not extremely picky - we like good home cooked food as long as it's warm, cooked right, and not too pretentious
