Anyone else look at the Blue Bayou menu today on the Disneyland site? The menu for lunch and dinner is now the same. Monte Cristo is not even on there. Cannot imagine they would get rid of that. Maybe a not so secret menu item that you can order but does not show on the menu?

Interesting! So the lamb is now on the lunch menu? We've always done dinner because DD loves the lamb, so this means we can do lunch now.

Looks like they most definitely took the Monte Cristo off of the lunch menu! So the only place you can get it now is at Cafe Orleans...for $20.00. Yikes, Cafe Orleans raised the price again of the fried green tomato sandwich to $19! I miss the days of it being around $13-14 at the Hungry Bear.

Really? Wow, thats way more tham it was a couple of munths ago. I was there in June and thought the Monte Christo was around $14 at Cafe Orleans

OH NO! I love the Monte Cristo at the Blue Bayou! It is different from the one at Café Orleans. I have had them both many, many times and they are way different. The one at the Blue Bayou is so much better. Not as much breading and has the 3 dipping sauces. I will be seriously upset if this is in fact true.

Weird! I don't care for it, but it's what my adult kids always choose. Seems crazy to take off a BB classic like that, though the cynic in me thinks it's because it was the cheapest entree.

It was $18 when I was there June 18th.

Its the same Sandwich, they're even made from the same kitchen.

I'm so disappointed! I'm also very glad that I got one in June. That's so sad... that's a Disney classic!

$20! That jumped in price!!

How many times have you had both? They may be made in the same kitchen, but I can assure you they are not the same.

Cafe Orleans has two different versions of the Monte Cristo, perhaps that is the confusion?

It's probably the most talked about item at Blue Bayou (at least here at the DIS), but it's taken off the menu. So, basically.....if you eat at Blue Bayou, Disney wants you spending loads of money on food, not just the cheapest thing on the menu.

I am also thinking they didn't like how people would split the sandwich (even with the split fee). Anything to squeeze extra money out of us. :sad2:

Blue Bayou is probably dead to us now. My daughter couldn't believe when I told her they took the Monte Cristo off the menu.
