I have a reservation for lunch at Blue Bayou on a Thursday at 11:20 AM. How difficult is it to request and get a waterside table? This will likely be our first and only time dining here, so we are hoping to make it as special as possible. Any tips or advice would be greatly appreciated!

Also, I booked the standard River Belle dining package for the 1st showing of Fantasmic. How is the reserved viewing area for this package? Will we be able to see the fireworks from that spot, or is there enough time to move to a better viewing location since the fireworks start right after the show? How early do you check in before the show starts?

Just let the Hostess know when you check in and that you are willing to wait until a waterside table opens up that will accommodate the number in your party. Usually 20 or 30 minutes but could be longer.

Do you know what time the first lunch reservations are at? I’m hoping since we have an early res it won’t be too difficult.

The reserved seating for River Belle is sitting on the ground, on the waterfront where Fantasmic takes place. They start seating guests at 7:45 pm. Usually a line starts a bit before then. You can arrive later if you don't care where you sit within the dining area.

Fantasmic ends at 9:27 pm and the fireworks begin at 9:30 pm. They will ask everyone to remain seated for Fantasmic and then stand for fireworks. When everyone stands, you can move forward if you like. For fireworks, they open the area to standby guests so stand up quickly and gather your belongings so that you can move forward before the standby guests enter. It is only a matter of a couple minutes.

like stated above, the first dining reservation for the Blue Bayou is at 11am
I'd check in early, like just when they take perch at the podium or as close to it as possible and request a waterside table then. Good luck, enjoy!
