BLT waitlist came thru

Woo Hoo!!!

Called on Monday to change our last 2 nights from OKW to BLT. Put on waitlist and I had my doubts but it came through on Thurs. It's a 1 bdrm Bay Lake view. Boys are excited about trying the new pool. Of course DD18 who is in college said we couldn't try a new resort without her. SHHHH, don't tell.

BTW, our dates are for April 8-9 - that's in 2 weeks.

Wow, that's great! We love the 1 BR at BLT, but have never used the pool. I hope you enjoy our home.

Good to know! we may try to add another night at the end of our 2br LV BLT stay in August ( I'm anticipating being waitlisted ) but hopefully luck will be with us; I was able to get initial nights of our reservation on day 7 month window opened

Both of my boys DS 7 and DS 4 loved the pool at BLT. However, they actually have never complained about going to any of the pools so take that for what it is worth.

Congrats on the WL coming through. We don't own there, but have managed to get in 3 times at the 7 month mark. LV studio 10/09, MK studio 6/10 and LV studio 10/10. I am hoping to continue with this luck until we get the money together to add on.

We are on a two night waitlist for either BLT or VWL July 3-4. Rest of the time is at BCV. VWL has one night open but not the other and BLT is booked solid. Hope some of your magic comes through for us as well. Really would like to try either of them.

the pools isn't that great. really like CR better.

it is shallow and rather small - understand the shallow - it is zero entry - don't understand why it is so small.

the big time - you can WALK to the MK!!!!

that to me is worth the price. Also may sure you go up to the top of world lounge for the fireworks.

zero entry pools don't appeal to us either unless they are big enough to 'swallow' up the slow descent, they are needed; just not a fan of shallow pools.

was curious as to how one would walk to the CR pools

do you know if it's possible via a path between the hotels vs going up & over to the CR via elevated walkway

Boys are 13 and 15 and we love to pool hop so it will be great to use the new pool. Won't be going to any parks while at BLT, just relaxing at the end of the vacation. DH and I will definitely do the TOTWL for drinks and the four of us to watch the fireworks. Probably have DB and DSIL and nephews over to swim too if it is not too busy.
