If you look over in DVC Mouselaneous there is a thread called "What's in a BLT?" that has pix of the different room.
We had room 7521 which was on the inside of the C, technically lake view room so we overlooked the pool. We loved it. Same floor as the sky bridge which was only 5 or 6 rooms away. Can't wait to go back home again.
Have not stayed in a MK view room yet, so I dunno.
And for the record we loved having a 1BR. It's the only thing that's worrying me about my upcoming December trip.....we're in a Studio over at Kidani. Just me, DW and DD4 so we should be fine but that 1BR was so nice.
I have only stayed in a Grand Villa with a Magic Kingdom view. The upside is that the view of the park was great. The downside is that you also have a view of the parking lot below. I guess there are trade-offs.
I would say it depends how long your stay is. I would not pay the extra points for a week-long stay as that would add up to a lot of extra points. If it just for a couple nights, then I would go for it.
we stayed in a mk view studio. it was nice to see the castle in different colors, but our view was the parking lot at our balcony. i would rather see the water for less points.

Agree with this too - I can't see spending lots of points for MK view, which is essentially a parking lot view with a castle in the distance. Gotta love the LV rooms on the outer edge of the "C" with the MK off to the left and Bay Lake straight ahead. I'll take my chances every time when booking LV.
The different views at BLT are really over-rated. After all what are you there for? I think the best view is the interior C overlooking the pool personally. If you want to see mK you just go there
I would not pay the extra points for LV or MKV. It's all vey ambiguous anyway. Go north tower, even numbers and you'll see Wishes fireworks everynight from your room. The only issue with std view is 5th floor is the highest they go, but 5th floor is also the floor of the bridge to CR and the monorail.
