I agree with the lame video. Same type of video that they had on the site when DVC opened their store in Chicago area. DVCee needs to retire. The tree houses and SSR sound interesting. Somebody had posted earlier that SSR is a poor DVC resort. We think it is a great DVC resort. What a great place to enjoy the resort.

I just watched the virtual tour on the member website and I think I was harsh earlier by thinking the decor was just awful. The only thing that stood out in the youtube video was the hideous lime green furnishings. The virtual tour is much clearer and it is not that bad and actually has some nice features. I recommend you check it out. I just wish that MK view wasn't so many points.

awful video but I love the idea of the treehouse villas! have always wanted to stay there, glad they're doing something with them

The decor reminds me of several modern hotels I've used in New York. I'm not surprised they went in this direction. I don't mind at all how it looks. Instead, my concern is whether it will be comfortable. A couple of the modern hotels I've stayed in looked awesome but the furnishings were uncomfortable once you actually sat on it or lay down on it.

I don't think we'll buy BLT points. If we ever add on anywhere it will probably be at Boardwalk or Beach Club.
