BLT tour ?

Do they have a schedule of the tours? Do they do tours on Sundays? We arrive at BLT on a Sunday and would like to do the tour that morning or early afternoon before check in. Do we need to make an appointment for the tour, or just show up at a certain time? How long is the tour, and are the FastPasses automatically given for attending the tour? Does everyone in our party receive FPs, and is the tour open just to DVC members, or can our child attend the tour, and receive a FP for herself?

I'm wondering the same thing. I know it's been discussed on here, but it can be hard to find old threads. Am pretty sure you have to sign up ahead of time and it's only once a day. But what time? And do they offer it every day? Thanks (in advance).

It should be every day and you must sign up ahead of time. This is the member tour. Non-member tours usually take place at SSR.

I just returned from BLT yesterday, and actually decided to buy after staying there a week. They have several appointments available everyday, I had to call and reschedule the morning of our appointment and it wasn't a problem so I would say that you could make one the day of. Hope this helps. I'm 99% sure you do not have to be a member to see the rooms since we where not members when we toured nor was the other couple that was beside us (they where staying at Pop Century).

The member event at TOTWL is at 1:00 pm. I believe it is every day but not positive.

You do have to sign up ahead of time. The presentation lasts about an hour and then they gave us a quick tour of the pool area and the 2 bedroom model. It was after that that you are given your FP cards.

Your daughter is allowed to attend the presentation. Since you sign up ahead of time, they have your cards all ready for you at the end.

We went last Sunday to the Member event. It lasted from 1 to 2:45 and if you do go, you may want to forgo lunch because there are tasty sandwiches and a cheesecake lollipop for desert! If this is what you want to do, you have to sign up ahead of time. We signed up on Saturday for Sunday.

I'm guessing, if it is for members and they are open to considering to adding on... they will take you for the ride as often as you wish. Just a guess though.

When we were there in May/June, we talked to a CM about attending this. She pretty much asked us if we were considering adding on. When we said no, probably not, she pretty much discouraged us from attending.

We are not really interested in buying in, but that was the way we were when we went on the SSR tour. Bought in then and there. Not beyond buying in and turning around and selling SSR. Be nice if DVC did trade up timeshare program, just like trading in a car for a new one.
Would really like to know if you can sign up the same day you arrive for that day's tour. Somebody out there knows. Let's hear back.

well would think you could if availability and you are getting there before noon - you would need the time to check in and sign up.

go over to BLT to sign in - think you need to sign in with someone who is part of DVC - not WDW. signed in at AKV at the DVC desk.

WE signed up at one of the DVC booths in Epcot. We just told them we were considering adding on and wanted to attend the event.

We told them what day, he called to see if there was room and when there was, signed us up.

Thanks for your help. We arrive on Saturday & would like to tour on Sunday - I'm sure we can find a DVC booth somewhere!
