BLT to Mass at Catholic Church

Staying at BLT and want to attend early morning mass, probably 7:30. Can the staff at BLT arrange a taxi to pick us up really early and arrange a ride for us after mass?

Taxis are out front of every resort. When they take you to the church, ask the driver for a card to call him to come back and get you.

Do you think they will be out in front as early as 6:30 ot 7:00 in the a.m.?

They may not be in front of BLT, you may have to walk over to the CR entrance, and if there are none there the valet desk will get you one in minutes

Most taxi drivers will return for you if you ask them.

If you can't make the 7:30 at Mary Queen of the Universe Shrine, there will be an 8:30 at Corpus Christi in Celebration. (Sunday Masses) It's nice that the two churches' Masses alternate times all morning. We have attended both.

I did find out about both churches and their schedules....was hoping to go early and enjoy more of the parks

I actually had to call Mears (the taxi service) the day before and arrange a taxi to meet us in front of the resort early the next morning. Upon calling, the receptionist told me to meet the taxi outside in front of BLT at least 10 minutes before the scheduled time. I asked if I should meet him in front of the Contemporary and she said no, the BLT would b fine. Early the following morning, we were in front of BLT 15 minutes before. The taxi arrived at least 10 minutes after our scheduled time in front of the Contemporary While we finally got in the taxi, fearful that we would be late for Mass, the driver drove very slow, until I told him we were going to be late. We made it just in time of the opening song All in all, I think I will take my own vehicle from now on. The taxi ride both ways was $65.00. My husband told the priest that he would rather put that money into the collection rather than to the taxi service, they should look into a shuttle to the disney resorts....if at all fesible!
