BLT to GF - Boat?

Hi.

I know that the monorail runs from BLT to GF but is there a boat that also runs.
If my stalking or WL doesn't come through we are staying one night at BLT and then going to
GFVs for the rest of our nights. I know I can have Disney take our luggage but thought about
just bringing it with me on the boat and not the monorail.

You can’t take luggage on the boat or on the monorail. You’ll need to have the resort transfer your luggage or call an uber/taxi to take you.

And, no, there is no boat from BLT to anywhere other than Wilderness Lodge and Fort Wilderness.

I did take my luggage with me once from Poly to GF. I used the boat and wasn't aware this wasn't something that couldn't be done.
It was very easy and I guess the CM didn't want to say anything. It was quick and painless.

Do you know how long it usually takes to see your luggage once you hand it over.

It would only be good for moving yourself, not your luggage, but one could walk from BLT to MK and take the GF/Poly boat from there, if able/so inclined.

Not in the past 10 years. Maybe back in the 70's or 80's.

Technically you could boat from BLT to GF - BLT/CR to WL, then switch boats take WL to MK, then switch boats again take MK to GF/Poly. Whew. But as stated above, you can't take luggage with you! We do spit stays every trip & have luggage transferred if we don't need anything until bedtime. The earliest your luggage will arrive at the 2nd resort is 3pm, it's usually between 4-5pm, on the rare occasion between 6-7pm. If we have a reservation or need something we just Uber to the next resort with luggage in tow. Good luck!

Not in the past 10 years. Maybe back in the 70's or 80's.

I do not thing there was ever a boat that ran from CR - GF. There used to be a boat that ran to Poly. I think that boat ended sometime in the 80s. That was also when pool hopping was still a thing and the Poly had the best themed pool. CR was just a regular rectangle and FW did not have a pool. Most memorable trip was taking boat from FW to Poly for Sunday mass in Feb.. rainy, windy and in the 50s... we were raw by the time we arrived.

I wasn't suggesting CR - GF. I thought a boat ran FW - CR - MK. Maybe I'm thinking WL... I *THINK* I remember taking a trip ~2009(?), staying a WL, and one day took a boat from WL to CR, then walked to MK.
