DH & I are considering a one night stay at BLT as we make our way back from a week at Vero. We always stop for one night year to enjoy the F&G at Epcot. We have never stayed at BLT and can't decide whether to book a lake or theme park view. Any advice?

For one night as a one-shot, do TPV. Sit on your balcony with wine for Wishes.

I would say definitely yes, request high floor. TP floors run from floors 5 to 12 (there is no 13 and GVs are 14). 8 and above are OK. 7 just barely, and with 5 and 6 most of the view you are going to have is a large, ugly parking lot in front of the building.

For one night F&W will you actually be in your room for Wishes? Or much at all? If not then I'd go for less points but if you will be it's a nice chance to check out the Theme park view.

We would most likely be in the room by then. (I guess depending on the time of the fireworks.) We usually spend the day in the park then go to dinner.

TPV for one night is a good idea. If you were staying a week I'd recommend Lake. The TPV rooms we've had shake when the fireworks go off! We always joke that the fireworks aren't complete without the symphony of car alarms going off in the parking lot.

I had also thought the same thing about a lake view room if we were staying for any length of time. It seems like it would be more peaceful. Thanks for the ideas!

I say lake view, go to TOTWL to view the fireworks.

Definitely this. Save a few points, you can watch the water parade from your room, and then go up to TOTWL for the fireworks. Win-Win-Win! And you might have a 4th Win since I believe some of the "Lake" view rooms have a partial view of the park. Enjoy your night!!

This might be the best idea since I noticed from some of the pictures of theme park views from various rooms that it really didn't have much of a view. It may be just luck of the draw.

There are actually some TP villas on the fourth floor, 7426 and 7428 are both considered theme park view. We know as we were assigned the studio one time. I prefer higher floors. And we too enjoy having a glass of wine on the balcony waiting for the fireworks.

Lake View more peaceful, TPV can also have loud and not so nice proximity to laundry and garbage trucks. Fireworks on your own balcony lovely tho. It's a tradeoff!

We have stayed in a Lake view in the past and I just booked our June trip and again I booked a Lake View, it is so pretty. I am hoping to get highest floor possible on the outer ring because you can see Epcot and their fireworks from there (if you are on that side of the tower that is). Don't get me wrong, Theme park view would be very nice, but there is something with the Lake view that is really pretty :goodvibes. Good luck with whatever you decide.
