BLT Sunrise Pictures from 11th Floor

We stayed on CRO in a studio at BLT this past weekend. It was the first time DH and I took an alone trip.

The hotel was very nice. I didn't mind the combo bathroom/kitchen area. I actually like it being out of the entry. I didn't feel in the way when someone wanted to leave the room. It made the kitchen seem larger than other studios.

The only problem we had was with someone smoking on their balcony. We couldn't enjoy the view from outside. We called the front desk, but they continued to smoke.

We went to the Halloween party on Friday night and we were able to see the parade and the fireworks without being smashed by other people! The park seemed empty. I've been to WDW for many years and have never seen the fireworks from Main Street watching the castle. It was VERY VERY cool.

This is the view from room 8125. It's on the 11th floor, dead center of the hotel. BTW..I took these pictures with my Blackberry.

Nice pics. I can see a case for wanting a lake view over a mk view. It will be interesting to track how DVC juggles the BLT point chart in the future.

I can say I was pretty impressed with the view. Every time I looked out our window I told my husband, "I can't believe how nice the view is here."

ita! That is an AWESOME view having that view would put me in total relaxation mode & make me feel like the nearest park is many, many miles away but yet MK is just outside the door - perfect

Thanks for posting your photos and impressions of BLT! Our first visit to BLT won't be until March '10, and the days are going by sooooo slowly.

Pretty pictures! We loved our Lake View 2 bedroom villa. And we enjoyed viewing MK from the windows near the elevators, the walkway over to the CR and of course the lounge up top.

I have to agree, I think all the views on that side are very good, but that is not the case on the MK side.
