Staying at BLT (2-bedroom villa) in March following a cruise on the Dream...Any suggestions??? Did you grab breakfast in the Contemporary? Is it easier to walk to MK than take monorail???

With the full kitchen, it's much easier to eat in the villa.

It is quicker to walk to the MK and take the monorail back because the monorail goes clockwise. If you catch the monorail at CR, it then goes to TTC, then Polynesian, then GF and then the MK. Coming back it goes to CR first.

The monorail will be closed for maintenance from Jan.21 through end of March.

Agree with Deb on both counts. We do a grocery order from WeGoShop and have breakfasts in the villa (though I do need one breakfast of Mickey waffles from Contempo Cafe when I stay at BLT ;))

And walking is MUCH faster than taking the monorail to MK.

It's only down for midday hours, not the whole day. You will be able to get to the park/resorts in the morning and home again at the end of the day.

We also do a grocery order or drive to Walmart and have breakfast in the room. We also do light lunchtime snacks type meals in the room to avoid getting over full before our TS dinner.

As we come from the UK my kids cannot regularly eat Lucky Charms so they would be horrified if we took them out for breakfast. We also find it far quicker in the morning to eat in the villa.

We often just get breakfast items at the store at the CR and have them in the mornings in our villa. The eggs, a couple yogurts a loaf of bread for toast and some jam are not that much.

We like to go to The Wave at CR at least once while staying at BLT.

I timed myself walking fast, with no kids, from BLT to MK and it took me 9 minutes. Really nice walk.

IMO best BL attributes - walkable to MK, and accessible to Monorail when raining, with the TOWL to end the evening on comfortable seating discussing the days experiences. :thumbsup2
