Question for anyone who's stayed in a BLT studio. Our DS14 HATES the sleeper sofa beds. When we went to HHI 2 yrs. ago we drove so I packed an air mattress for him & he was much happier with that. When we go over spring break we're flying Jet Blue so I CAN check a bag (normally we try to fly with just carry-ons) so I was thinking of bringing the air mattress again in a checked bag. I know these BLT studios are pretty tight but so would there even be ROOM for it if we don't fold the couch out?? I wish our Owners Locker wasn't quite so full so I could just leave one down there...but it's STUFFED!! :rotfl:

I was thinking of pulling the mattress out of the sleeper sofa and putting DD to sleep there. She sleeps on a crib mattress at home so I don't think the pack 'n play is going to suit her. She is sort of a "princess and the pea" type. Would that be an idea for your son? It is the hard bars and the springs that make fold out uncomfortable right??? :confused3 I guess this doesn't answer your floor space question at all. Sorry! If there is room for a mattress on the floor though, there should be room for an inflatable bed... :wizard:

The platform type sleeper sofas have sectional mattresses that don't really come off very well.

A twin sized air mattress might work, but much bigger than that will be difficult.

The studios don't have a ton of room , but you can fit a queen size matress on the floor if you don't pull out the sofa. My kids don't mind the pullout.

I would only be bringing a twin size...I just thought that the sofas at BLT looked more like loveseat size & wasn't sure if there was enough room to lay the air mattress along the front of the sofa (what we did at HHI) so it wasn't taking up the ENTIRE floor.

A twin size would fit- don't forget to bring the sheets and stuff as well. You may have to move over the coffee table but you would have to do that to pull out the coffee table.

I don't know what the HHI sofa beds were like, but when we stayed at BLT I was very impressed with the sofa beds. They weren't like anything I'd seen before and there were no bars killing your back. You might be surprised.

And for the pp, the mattresses do not come off, they are attached.

Just get another locker ;) you can leave the matress and some stuff too as a bonus!

I think it will fit in front of the sofa :goodvibes
