I'm staying in a studio at BLT in sept for 3 nights with 2 adults and a 5year old and 4year old. How tight is it going to be? I know the studios are small but just wondering how awful should I expect it to be? It's all the points I had left. A lake view studio. Anyone have experiences with this?

They are not that bad. We've stayed in the BLT studio twice w/ no problems, our kids were 2 and 4, then 3 and 5.

There is only one bathroom, but with little ones it is fine. Not sure if you are planning on doing laundry, but there are no washers/dryers in the studio. But there are W/D on the first floor and they are free, you just have to buy or bring your own laundry detergent. For a 3 night trip, I'm sure you're prob not planning on doing laundry, but with kids you never know!

Lake View is nice, you can see the Electrical Water Pageant from your balcony! Enjoy!!

It is doable, but it is tight...do you have a stroller? We went with our 2 kids, ages 3 and 1 at the time and found the studio, especially with a stroller, to be very tight. It was the tightset of the studios and we stayed at BCV, AKV, and BWV that week as well.

They are kind of tight-we stayed 4 nights in May 2 adults and a 3 y/o. We brought an inflatable toddler bed and it pretty much took up all the open space in front of the couch once we moved the coffee table over-assuming your kids don't mind sleeping together on the sofa bed and are able to (not sure if you can do any type of bed rail with a sofa bed which is why we brought our inflatable). I'm sure you will fit (can leave your stroller and suitcases by the front door where the lock off door area is like we did). Just keep in mind once the sofa bed is open you prob won't have much space to move around/access the balcony. Also the bathroom is very small so if you are trying to get multiple people ready at once you will have to use the extra vanity area in the galley style kitchen. It is definitely doable but my husband commented on how narrow the room is and he felt like we were always tripping over each other while we were there. Lack of space is more than made up by the location though ;)

We did fine 2 nights with 3 adults and 2 kids (4 and 1). I guess it just depends on the family.

We did 6 nights in a BLT LV studio with me, DH, and 2 kids ages 6 (turned 7 on the trip) and 4. I definitely wouldn't describe it as roomy, but we were fine and are planning to do it again next year for part of our trip. We also had a rental single stroller with us. We just kept it parked right next to the entrance of the room and didn't find that it compromised our space.

We had four adults for 1 night before moving into a larger room.

There was stuff everywhere and we could barely walk. I can see it being much easier with two littles and less luggage!

My sister and I stayed there with her 6 year old and my 16 year old for 4 nights in June. After reading the reviews of how small it is, we were prepared to be very uncomfortable. We were pleasantly surprised, largely because there was a good amount of storage. We used the area in the kitchenette (where the bathroom sink used to be and there is now a mirror and storage) for getting ready in the morning, so it was almost like having 2 bathroom areas. We made sure we folded up the sofa bed each morning, which makes things much better. It is true that there is not much room with the sofa bed out, but it was completely doable, and not unpleasant for us. We had a stroller and found a space to park it right at the doorway to the connecting villa. I don't know if BLT has dedicated studios, as this obviously would not work with a dedicated studio. My sister and I do tend to be very organized with our stuff, so I am sure that helped as well. Especially with a short stay of 3 nights, I think you will be fine. Be sure to visit the community hall....our kids loved playing games and doing crafts there, it was a great way for them to relax! (there is a slight possibility that my sister and I enjoyed doing some crafts there as well!) :rolleyes1
