Is it possible to move the sleeper chair into the master bedroom? Didn't know if it could fit through doorway or not.

thx

No- not only will it not fit but you could ruin the furnature and doorway by attempting. Also it is quite heavy and you may have problems moving it at all.

I agree....it is very, very heavy. Please don't try to move it. You could hurt yourself and also damage the chair and/or the floor.

It is heavy but I don't think it would fit through the kitchen area.

You are not supposed to move the furniture to different rooms. Keep it as it is. If you need a sleeping space in the bedroom you could bring an aerobed.

I can't imagine anyone trying to move that sleeper chair anywhere.

DS slept on that when he was 12yo....very comfortable, btw. I don't think there's anyway you could move that without scratching the floor and/or hitting a few walls. Please don't try.

That chair is extremely heavy and not easily moved. DS1 slept on the sleeper chair for 4 nights, he was 21 and over 6ft tall, he found it extremely comfortable and didn't want to swap with his brother to the sofa bed.

I posted the same question about six months ago and received the same type of replies, with no real answer. However, it did make me think that, yes, that chair probably is quite heavy with the bed mechanism and all in it. I ended up bringing a twin size air matress which fit between the master bed and balcony window. That ended up working pretty good. Perhaps that is a viable option for you.

....and sorry, I also do not know the answer to your original question. Never checked to see if the chair fit through the door but thinking back size-wise, I have a strong suspicion it would not.

Don't move the furniture.

Add me to the "I don't think it will fit" list. I've been at BLT several times and the chair is more of a chair and a half size. It's huge and heavy. There are too many turns and a wall that would prevent you from getting it into the master. Plus the master has it's own chair in it and there actually is no room in the master to even put the sleeper chair in there to begin with. The chair that is in the master is right between the bed nightstand and the wall/sliding door with no extra room.

Don't move the furniture.

We move furniture all the time if it suits us. We don't damage it. Sometimes you can't open up the sleeper sofas without moving the coffee tables out of the way.

if we need an extra seat in the living room, we will move a chair from one of the bedrooms.

We've moved the table from the bedroom to make eating space for extra guests in the dining, living area.

We've moved the seat in the bedroom out of the way to provide more floor space for our needs.

Haven't tackled a sleeper chair yet, but if it's movable and it suits me to do so, and it doesn't damage anything, I will do so.

And, I regularly bring the outdoor furniture inside at night so it's not all wet with dew in the morning when I want to have my coffee on my balcony.
