BLT sales / incentives / history lesson needed

When BLT sales start (assume this summer) and you can;t use your pts until at least late 2009 due to construction, will they offer some incentive or developer pts so buyers can get an immediate return on their purchase? Has DVC always done this on new resorts when they are sold prior to completeion?

I wish I knew! I read on another post somewhere that there wouldn't be any developer points, but I don't know where that information came from so I'm not sure whether to believe it or not. I don't want to believe it!

I can't imagine people would start to buy in if they announced it for sale and didn't offer any developer points (assuming there were no rooms already available). AFAIK, they really only started offering developers points with Kidani (since you couldn't stay there yet).

If they don't do the same with BLT, then why bother throwing your money into something you can't use for a year or two? They'd either have to give a significant per point discount or some other incentive to do so, imo.
