I have a few questions:

*If you are in the north part - closer to MK, is it a long walk to the Contemporary / monorail?

*How far of a walk is it to MK? Anyone have a picture or two of the path?

*Can you request a room number?

We were in a LV studio, #8206, in August. It took no more than 5 minutes to get from the room to the CR via the skybride. And, we were almost at the end of the hall.

The walk to MK was about 8 - 10 minutes--very easy and that was not going really fast.

While you could request a room, that really limits your chances of getting something you want as the resort would not have any idea of what you were looking for if that room was unavailable.

It is better to request an area. We are going next summer in a SV room and will be requesting an even # room facing the parking lot. OUr hope is to have a partial MK view while we are there.

We took the wrong elevator several times to the skyway and it was never too far. The walk from MK is 10 mins at the most at a leisurely pace and very quick.

I agree with PP who advised not to request a specific room, it would be nearly impossible for CM's to grant that request. I've found the more non-specific you are the better chances you have to get a good room. We requested a room above the 6th floor and got an 8th floor MK room that was ready by 1:30pm. Just my .02
