BLT Room Request

We own at BLT, so at at the 11 month booking window now. for our upcoming trip. I've booked and cancelled LV, and now booked a MV. But I'm still on the fence. Last time, we booked LV and they gave us a 2nd floor room, which we hated (and in fact had to do a room change part way thru the trip to a higher floor, which also is not fun, esp because we are already splitting between Universal and Disney).

It seems like with MV, we would at least be on the 5th floor... so, were we just unlucky last time? What I really want is a LV where we can see the electric parade a night, but, a 2nd floor room is unacceptable for us. So, thoughts, suggestions? Shold I just still with the MV, or rebook the LV, put in the room request again, and hope for the best? We do have the points for this year at least... just not to do MV every year.

Lake View, even number room, high floor will get you a view by the boat dock if available.

I think you want to be south facing. We had a north facing 1BR villa that was even numbered and we could see the monorail and MK plus the fireworks at night. But not the Electrical Water Pageant, which is what you want.

I think you're right. I've agonized over the room map, and it seems like 42 or 36... so, there are about 16 rooms I'd want, out of 101 possible... I guess we'll hope we get lucky or that they work on our room request.

We haven't had a lot of luck with high floors. Even MK view was fifth last time. Which I ended up loving.

I think I requested high floor even number room. But I got odd number 11 floor.. Lake view which was ok because we could see epcot and the water parade. I was worried about being in the inner circle with noise. But no issues
