ROFR was sent to Disney today 4/27/09.

How long is the average ROFR taking these days?

Most posts I have read are putting it around 25 - 30 days.

I wouldn't count on transfers as a main part of the usage but a very small contract can be right for one looking at a studio every 3 years or so, someone tacking on a few days to an off site trip, sometimes for those staying off site to get access and perks and for locals mainly for the perks.

Well that was fast 8 days later ROFR passed. After some paper work, my family will be DVC members.

After you do the paperwork, make sure you do the next most important thing...putting a BLT "badge" in your signature!

My son also has only a 25 pt contract at BWV with the hopes of adding on. It's a way to get your foot in the door, and the small contracts sell quickly if you ever decide to sell. And, you are entitled to all the DVC perks. I think it was a good decision.
