I've seen some complaints about the distance from BLT to the Contemporary. Having never stayed at either one, I'm wondering if someone could give me a comparison to the distance from Tokelau at the Polynesian to Captain Cook's or BCV to the counter service there. We've stayed at both so those would give me a good reference.

Also, is the pool on the smaller side? About the same as the Polynesian pool? I know we can use the Contemporary pool too. Just curious about it.

Thanks!

I can't compare those references. I have been in the Polynesian so I will compare it from walking from the boat dock at Polynesian to the building entrance, if that. It is a very short distance.

Once you get off the 5th floor on the south wing, I believe, the walkway is right there. Less than 2 minutes you are in the Contemporary in the back by the gift shops.

The distance is so small, it's not really a problem. It's a lot shorter than the distance from the elevator to the last room on the floor at the BWV.

Never been an issue for me....and we stayed at the very far end of BLT. Walk down the hall, hop on a elevator, get off at the 5th floor, walk across the "bridge," and there you are. The gift shop and sundry store are right there when you cross into the CR. Contempo Cafe and Chef Mickey's aren't much further.
