BLT question???

Will there be room service available? I have read just about everything there is to read about Bay Lake Towers and have not seen them mention room service. Just for the record, I LOVE having a double shot espresso delivered before my kiddos wake up. Can anyone tell me for sure?

From the original announcement:

Beyond the rooftop lounge, spacious lobby and lakeside pool, Bay Lake Tower will feature a covered outdoor sky bridge that connects to the original resort so that guests can access the monorail as well as the restaurants and merchandise shops Guests love at Disney’s Contemporary Resort. Plus, Bay Lake Tower Guests can pamper themselves with room service available through the original resort or make use of Community Hall, an activity center.

So it looks like the answer is yes.

According to the member website, SSR & OKW don't have room service. It appears as if only the DVC resorts that are 'connected' to a deluxe resort have room service.

I think internal resorts are the resorts where you enter/exit your room in an interior hallway. All deluxes and DVC resorts are interior, while the moderates/values aren't.

I just became a DVC member and up until now, I've stayed in about all the moderates and that's all I've ever stayed in. All the moderates I've stayed in have room service; at least that's what they call it. They deliver pizza, sandwiches, drinks, etc.

I admit I've never stayed at a deluxe and I'm looking forward to my first DVC visit to SSR in about 6 weeks. Do the deluxes at WDW have full room service with a full compliment of menu items available from an in-hotel resturant? Is that what you guys are talking about?

I guess I get the definition now but SSR and OKW seem so disconnected even inside the resorts themselves. Are you saying they have a full compliment of room service available there too?

I think I heard that SSR and OKW may have pizza delivery available from POR. However, you could get a much better outside delivery Giordano's pizza delivered to your room at SSR! (I thin an "Internal hallway" deluxe does not allow outside food to be room delivered so, you'd have to meet an external delivery person in the lobby)

The Internal Deluxes have available full room service options (At least my BWV and AKV stays had a full room service menu available) SSR does not get a room service menu.
