BLT purchase Question

Dh and I attended the presentation and are looking into purchasing at BLT. The current offer is $11/vacation point credit for 160 points. We have until Friday to take advantage of the credit. Our question is can we also take advantage of the special offer, the complimentary Disney Cruise Voyage, from a referral from a DVC member?

In a word ...no...

you can however get $5.00 per point off and the 3 night cruise. Or you can stick with the additional $6.00 off (plus the $5.00) for the $11.00 off.

We attended the Vacation as you wish program and bought 160 points at BLT for $101/point ($11 off/point). We were not told of the cruise offer. I received an email from DVC about the cruise. I called about it, and I was told that I would not be eligible as the incentive I was already receiving was a better deal. It would be one or the other. HTH.

Unfortunately, you can only opt for one or the other. As I recall, however, the cruise dates were pretty unappealing (at least in terms of people with school-aged children). There weren't any summer or holiday cruises that were offered, just those dates that would require a parent to take their child out of school. That said, we had the option of a 4-night cruise or $16 off per point and we ran the numbers and came out ahead with taking the discounted point price. Good luck!
