BLT or BWV Grand Villa?

We're going to WDW 11/7-11/14, and are currently booked at SSR in a Grand Villa (home resort) at our 7-month window, we would like to see if we can get a GV at either BLT or BWV. We are leaning towards BLT, but keep thinkin' that maybe we should stay at BWV. Need your opinions. There will be 9 of us....7 adults, 2 kids (ages 4 & 2).

What do you recommend?

It's going to be difficult to get into a GV at a non-home resort. BWV only has 7 GV's.

With that number of adults, I would probably lean towards BWV's. We love having EPCOT and the Studios within walking distance. Plus, all the Boardwlk activities in the evening are great!!

I have a friend who just returned from a 2 family stay in a BLT GV and said they had the most amazing time. They absolutely loved the location and ability to walk to the MK and they said with the 2 story windows the views were outstanding and the kids were mesmerized. I would think with young children if you were able to book at BLT the convenience of being right next door to the MK would be great. Have a great trip, I am sure you will enjoy your Grand Villa, wherever that may be!!!

Thanks Guys! At least I have a couple of months to think it over....I will take what I can get. Not saying that SSR GV is awful, we just want to stay somewhere else this go around.

Funny enough, I just tried booking two, 2-bedrooms at BLT for Oct right at the 7 month opening, and the absolute only thing available at BLT was a Lake View, Grand Villa!

I'd rather have the 2-bedrooms since we're maxing the occupancy of the GV and it's a little cheaper on the points, but I can't complain since I'm a little excited to see the GV and never thought I would be staying in one.

Congrats on the BLT GV. Stayed in a 1 BRM LV in November and it was fabulous. The CM's told us that the GV's there are the best DVC has to offer.
