BLT - MS could see inventory but couldn't book it?

I was on the phone with MS over an hour yesterday (GREAT CM - and I did the survey afterwards to let them know that!) trying to book a trip in June during Star Wars weekends and DSS's 7th birthday.

We were completely flexible on dates as long as we would be there during one of the SWW in June. Since the official dates haven't been announced yet, the CM said our best bet was one of the 1st 2 weekends in June and she played around with dates trying to find a room for us.

Our first choice was a 2br Lake View at BLT. Second choice was 2br Sav view at Kidani.

The CM finally found a block of 4 nights in a row at BLT and could see them available but couldn't reserve them for some reason. We had enough points for the transaction but for some reason the inventory wasn't releasing the dates so she could make the reservation.

After much back and forth with a supervisor on the phone, we booked Kidani just so that we could have somewhere for sure.

Has anyone ever had that happen? Why on earth would inventory show available but MS not be able to book it?

We're within the 7 month window and we have enough points for the reservation. MS was puzzled and couldn't resolve it in the hour we were on the phone.

We love Kidani but were looking forward to trying BLT. I may call back today and try to move the reservation.

Same thing happened to us over the weekend. I called Friday just to check availability - BLT 2 bedroom lake view for early June was available. We called back Saturday and still came up available until they went to reserve with supervisor. They came back to phone and said it is weird but no rooms are available. We ended up booking (4) nights at AKV & (3) nights at BLT - wait listed for all at BLT. Fingers crossed. Good luck to you.

Thanks - you too! I am torn. We really wanted the convenience of BLT but the boys love the pool at Kidani. Either way we're at WDW so it will be fine!

I bet we were looking at the same week. Must be some sort of glitch with the inventory.
