BLT MK View worth it?

Already planning our WDW trip for December 2017 second week. Plan on trying to get BLT. Was wondering if MK view is worth the extra points. Had a lake view before and liked it.

We prefer the Lake View. Rarely do we watch fireworks from our room and the rest of the time you see the parking lot below (versus the marina or lake). We did have a lake view in which we could see the fireworks from our room...but I still request a marina view.

Thanks everyone! I need to request North building, even numbered room for a chance of fireworks viewing with lakeview booking, correct? Just secured reservation renting points throughout David's and need to put in my room request!
