Actually, my understanding is that maintenance fees are due in January of the following year for the previous year's fees. So, the 5 months of BLT fees will be due in January, 2010 and the full 12 months of BLT fees for 2010 will be due January, 2011. Of course, I'm also a new owner and my understanding comes only from a conversation with my Guide about this specific issue when we bought in March, so I could have misunderstood him or he could have conveyed the incorrect information to me. I'll post a separate thread to find out how exactly it works so we'll all know - LOL.

I think your guide may have mispoke. MF's are due each year in January. So, the 2009 fees were due this past January. However, since BLT was not open then, BLT owners won't be billed for the fees until the resort opens. And, those fees will be prorated.

All BLT owners will have to pay their prorated amount of 2009 MF's in either September/October of this year. When I called yesterday, I was told mine were due October 15th (June UY). So, I would assume that anyone with a Feb, March, April, June or Aug UY and Sept UY will have to pay by October 15th. It appears that the prorated amount will be for 4 months.

In January 2010, BLT owners (along with everyone else) will get another bill for their 2010 MF's--these will be for the full amount.

So, BLT owners will be paying MF's in the fall of 2009 and then again in January 2010.

If you have an Oct UY, then you will only owe 3 months, and Dec UY will only owe 1 month. When those would be due, I am not sure.

Not quite. The $122.70 is due, most likely, by October 15th. I would double check with member accounting, but that is when mine is due.

But you are correct that you will then be billed again in Jan 2010 for both your AKV and BLT for the 2010 MF's (and these will be for the full amount).
