Was wondering if anyone knew what time the tours were?

We'll be down in 2 weeks.
Would love to do it since we are going to add-on later this year (just 50pts though)
But I want to finalize my ADRs & need an apprx. time of day this might go on.

This past week they were doing them at 1pm. We signed up the day before the event.

We were there on Saturday April 24th. It was really nice to see the rooms and of course the lounge was great!! I even won the $100 gift card they raffled off If you are going to go, make sure you have enough time to use the fast passes and that all of your group goes so everyone gets the 3 fastpass card. We were not able to use ours so we gave them away to another couple. They are having this daily at 1pm is what we were told.

I dialed "DVC" from the room phone on Monday April 05 to schedule the 1pm tour. No availability on Tuesday April 06 so I made the 1pm appointment on Wednesday April 07. I asked the differences about 1pm and 2-4pm tours. Only 1pm tours are TOTW Lounge/Observation Deck.

You can make appointments via Member Services.

We got there at 12:55pm, they checked our names off the list.

The whole thing was within 90 minutes including sales pitch, video presentations, rooms/ground tour, BLT purchase/finance options after the rooms tour. My guide did left me a voicemail on our room the same day.

One (1) FastPass Exchange Card per person. Each card receives three (3) FastPass tickets. They are valid for four (4) days after issue at DVC Preview Center.

Bay Lake Tower scheduled member visit on April 07, 2010 at 1:00PM.

Highlights:

At Top Of The World Lounge, all scheduled guests received tote bags, pens, 2010 point charts, note pads, DVC Mickey pins.

Refreshments: sandwiches, beverages, cheese cake sticks.

Video presentations: Cars Land in summer 2012, California Adventures, Disney Dream.

Raffles: desk clocks, tote bags, visors, $100 certificate.

BLT cash discounts, Disney cruise incentives.

Rooms Tour: room 7109 (studio) and room 7111 (1-bedroom) which is a 2-bedroom lockoff.

A copy of 2010 Bay Lake Tower Loan & Dues Payments Direct Debit Examples (preferred financing) where I requested my guide to sent me 3 weeks ago via email in pdf format dated 3/8/2010.

Four (4) FastPass Exchange Cards for 2 adults, DS13, DS09...we keep them as souvenirs since this week is our 3rd non-Disney parks vacation.

I asked about the differences between daily 1:00pm tours and 2pm to 4pm tours when I made our appointment, only the daily 1:00pm tours are Top Of The World Lounge/Observation Deck.

I noticed in the video that there were kids at the TOTWL, but only 2 on the rest of the tour.
Do they take the kids off for you? Is there a min. age?

These FP cards, are they one time use only, as in , you just get one FP for which ever 3 rides you choose per card & that's it, can not be used on the rest of the trip?

I'm trying to decide if DH should go alone while I swim w/ the kids.
They probably would love to see the TOTWL & have snacks though ('cause last trip the bar keep made DH & the 7yo feel very unwelcome)

If I have to do the BLT 1pm tour again, I would say 4 people in my group for 1pm tour. DW would stay with DS13 and DS09 for other priorities. My feeling is they have 4 FastPass Exchange Cards made for me at the 1pm tour. If they ask, I can say they can't make it for other priorities. I'm sure they will give 4 FastPass Exchange Cards to me, but don't quote me please do check on this. In our case, they gave out the FastPass exchange cards after the video presentations and rooms tour.

My gut feeling for these FastPass Exchange Cards is "you can enter the FP line now" (not return in xx minutes). Note the details verbiage for ride exceptions at above post from the back of FastPass Exchange Cards.

Enjoy the BLT 1pm tour!! It exceeded our expectations!!
