BLT LV & Electric Water Pageant

I just booked a 6 night stay in a one bedroom BLT with Bay Lake Views for August right before my Disney Cruise!!!! This was suppose to be my WDW-free year but I couldn't resist the lure of DVC.

I am looking forward to the wonderful lake views. But I just had a while day dreaming about our trip. Will we be able to see the Electrical Water Pageant on the lake from out balcony? If so, then I will be

Anyone know what the schedule for the EWP is? Is it still nightly or did Disney cut back on this like everything else?

Pageant usually starts about 9. Whether you will be able to see it from BLT lake view room will depend on where room is and guess is about half the lake views may be able to see it with many of those just barely.

I don't think the Electrical Parade goes into Bay Lake. Doesn't it just go around Seven Seas Lagoon.

Well, it was a nice thought! But I think the water view will be beautiful even without.

Oops I was incorrect. I just looked up info on this parade and it does go into Bay Lake. I apologize. I am glad I was wrong.

The best view we ever had of the EWP was from our balcony at the Wilderness Lodge. That was an awesome surprise as we had no idea and were just sitting out there one evening, and suddenly there it was.

We stayed in the CR in January and I thought that the Water Pageant would be out by the boat dock. Since we had a bay lake view I figured we'd get to see it from the Concierge Lounge one night. So, imagine my surprise and delight the one night we were in the room around 9:30 or so when I heard the music. It was really a nice surprise.
Hopefully with a bay lake view at the BLT you will get a chance to see the pageant too.

The Electrical Water Pageant has been running nightly since it started, so they're not about to cut it back. It starts at the Poly at 9 and gets to the Contemporary around 10.

It used to be 10:05 on the Bay Lake side at CR.

It plays at the Wilderness Lodge at 9:35pm when it first comes over to the Bay Lake side--Then, it goes to Ft. Wilderness. Then it swings around to the CR.
