everyone of the DVC resorts have been torn apart by this site when they were first offered for sales, and again when they first opened

It is not personal - it just happens.

so never let anything say here - hurt how you feel about your home resort.

it is your home resort if you are happy - doesn't matter how others feel.

Good post :) we love our two resorts of OKW and BLT and realize that different people like different things so those BLT haters don't bother us at all, but I could see some people being hurt when someone slates something that they love

Mark me down a a BLT lover. Some folks are amazingly negative on these forums.
Looking forward to many years a SSR and BLT.

Sometimes I want to rock and sometimes I listen to softer music. Same with the resorts I have purchased. SSR to relax with my wife and BLT for visits with my kids and their kids etc.

I love several resorts. :)

But, I am really looking forward to BLT. CR was the first resort we ever stayed in back in 1991. We have a bunch of family memories from previous visits.
1. The Electric Water Pagent at 10:05 pm (Even when DS was little (2), he would not go to sleep until after he watched it! :confused3 )

2. The Contemporary Grounds where you can get a cappuccino in the afternoon.

3. Game room.

4. California Grill. On one visit, DH ordered a souffle "to go" for me :lovestruc one time (we were staying a couple of floors below). On another visit, we had Thanksgving Dinner there with the family.

5. Shopping at the stores on the Grand Canyon concourse.

6. Sticky Mickeys cinnamon rolls for breakfast at the Concourse Steakhouse (sad that is gone and no more Sticky Mickeys :( but, still a nice memory :) )

7. Of course, the monorail which makes a stop at the Kona Cafe for a late evening dessert (if you want. :) ). Or, stopping by the Grand Floridian hotel at Christmastime to see the Gingerbread House.

8. Boat launch over to see the Hoop Dee Do Revue. (and at one time Discovery Island and River country, too).

9. Walk to the MK.

10. Watch wishes...

Then there are the DVC rooms... I am looking forward to getting a 1BR unit with 2 bathrooms! We have stayed at CR countless times and we have never had a MK view. I'd like to try it out sometime. :) .

Indeed Ms. Pat... BLT is not my cup of tea... that should not matter to anyone who has been waiting, anticipating, longing for... THEIR resort. I am truly feeling wonderful for and love reading the excitement of all those who have been waiting. As I feel wonderful for the SSR folks who now have that wonderful THV section.

Remember when Tink10 came up with those artist's renderings... anticipation and hope has been brewing for quite a while. I love a happy ending. :)

I was thinking that I should start a thread asking what were BLT owners looking forward to most about their new home resort, but you have summed up so many of them nicely that I am not sure I need to. :goodvibes

One thing I can add is we will love being just a boat ride away to get to breakfast at Trail's End Buffeteria.

And if I am ever lucky enough to get a MK view room, I just can't imagine what it would be like to have the lights of the Magic Kingdom as your view at night. :lovestruc
