Hi...we will be staying at BLT end of July and have a Lake veiw...:woohoo:

Just wondering if staying of the 5th floor with the sky bridge, is that a good location? I was wondering if only on the 5th floor if the veiw of the lake would be as good...I am thinking that it wouldn't be high enough to see .
I thought 5th floor would be easy to get back and forth quick to the Cont.
but than I was also thinking that the 5th floor might be really noisy.

Any thoughts

thanks
amy

Not sure how noisy it will be on the 5th but we had a lake view on the 14th floor. It was great because we could see the fireworks from Epcot in the distance and we also saw the floating lights.

We've stayed on that floor, almost in the dead center of the tower. There are big trees between the pool area and the building that make it difficult to see some parts of the lake from the lower rooms. It didn't bother me enough to change because on that particular trip, we weren't in the room much except to sleep.

Here is the view from our balcony.

It wasn't noisy, surprisingly, and we were even fairly near the elevator. We go back to the room mid-day for my daughter to nap, and I don't recall being bothered by noise (and I am over-sensitive to noise). It was also nice to not have to take the elevator to go across to the CR, I have to say.

If you want a true lake view, though, I'd request a higher floor. Those trees really were dense and you really have to be over them to get the full advantage of the view.

thanks for the responses...I really want to see the lake, my DH loves to sit on the balcony and take in the sites.:boat:

Like what would I request...high floor?

thanks..

amy

if you like highs go for it

request - highest floor possible.

not fond of highs myself so always stay in standard view -that is 5th floor and lower.:rotfl:
