BLT-June (7 month window)

I called yesterday at the 7 month window arriving on the 13th for a 4 night stay with MK view. I could only get two of the 4 nights with a MK view. I booked LV and waitlisted for the MK view. Hopefully it will come through!!!

Does this also true with studios too? We are staying in a LV studio in April and we are a family of four. I have heard the studios are small, so if there is a chance of getting an even smaller one, I think I will try to put a request in for an even number. (if it matters)

All Studios are identical in size and arrangement so it doesn't matter whether you have an even or odd number room. With a Lake View room, you're most likely going to have an odd numbered room.

We stayed in a Lake View dedicated 2-bedroom villa at BLT during early October while the Food and Wine Festival was taking place. I booked it 3 months out!

Thank you Chic for your advice. I called MS today and requested an even number room on a high floor. I have found the other thread showing pictures of BLT views. It appears if you get the even room the North side, you can
view MK fireworks off the left side of the balcony. Either way, I am glad to be able to visit the newest DVC property. Thanks again.

ooops... forgot to report back.

We did get a dedicated 2BR Lake View from June 12-19 at the 7month window. They had both MK and LK view available but no SV. I called right after 9am on Nov. 12 and she said I was the 3rd one she had changing a reservation to BLT.

Based on the pictures I've seen of a MK view, I didn't think the extra points for a MK view were worth it. If we want to view the fireworks from our resort, we'll just go on up to the TOWL.

Chic, did you make a room request?

Just changed our reservation dates. Wife's conference in Orlando on June 12 was canceled so I figured I would call this morning to see what was available for our spring break. To my surprise, 2 BRs with both BLV and MKV were available at the BLT for April 24-30. Woot!
