BLT - I want it!!

So finally got the mailer today, and I want it! If I didn't have a trip planned for February, I think I would have my VWL on the market! Love the location, the rooms are modern and funky. And the main reason is the 3 bedroom, it is a total bummer the VWL doesnt have three bedroom units! If they did I probably wouldn't feel the way I do. But if there are still points available after our trip at BLT !! hmmm..........

Just curious, I'm trying to decide between them! I do love BLT, but I am swayed by the woodsy, quiet outdoors of VWL, as well as the grounds surrounding the resort, the activities, the proximity to FW (although I have no idea if we'd ever utilize that, I just need a jet ski to be happy)...the boat...heck, I don't know!! And NO I can't do both, because I'm going to really lose the farm on GCV.

But - your just a quick boat ride away to FW and VWL!!! I'm still really torn, but DH was like, would it be worth it just to have access to a 3BR? Because by the time it all would happen, DD would be old enough that if we took that many with us,her and her friends could have their own Studio!! She will be 17 next September. So I guess we will just stay put, but will keep our fingers crossed for the next trip to get in at the 7 month window! HAHAHA

I just closed at AKV two weeks ago, and already I find that I'm trying to prevent myself from purchasing BLT. I saw the towers and the models, and I think they look great.

Maybe 100 points at BLT will calm me down?

Only thing stopping me is that when I'm vacation, I want to feel like I'm escaping. Not sure if BLT would offer that since I have a modern condo.

I know that is what I keep telling myself as well! But is anything really "quick" at WDW? Then again...isn't having the monorail so close at BLT better...or is having all the relaxing, away-from-it-all feeling at VWL more important? What a decision!

I am trying to figure out a way to get IN to VWL! I just love the theming - we just stayed there in September.

I wouldn't trade our VWL for BLT, but I definitely hope to stay there at least once! Earlier this year, we ate at California Grill and enjoyed the fireworks from the balcony. We have 2 other CG reservations for this year, it's great food and great viewing! In liew of BLT points, I'll just have to keep making CG reservations!

I gave in and bought points at BLT last week - So glad that I did!!

I can't get my guide to call me back..I've been trying to get ahold of her since Saturday! I have the money for a downpayment set aside..now if I can just get a return phone call. I may have to call another guide soon!! When does it go on sale to the public?
