BLT HA room locations

I was hoping someone could give me an idea of where the Lake View Roll in shower rooms are at BLT. I know at BCV and BWV and Kidani they are pretty much all in same location for each room category. Anyone have any pics of the views or an idea of where the rooms are? Thanks.

This thread has some of the accessible rooms listed. They look to be rooms ending in 12 or 14 starting on the 6th floor.

We have stayed twice at BLT dedicated 2 bedroom lake view with roll in shower. It had the most amazing views of the fireworks and Cindys castle. The first time we stayed we brought family which included my niece and her just turned 5 year old twin girls. I had the twins going into the room for the first time and my daughter and niece were a few rooms back just taking their time.. The twins saw the Castle through the huge picture window immediately and just starting screaming. Caitlynn who just adores Cinderella started to cry and said I can see my room from here. The most magical room entry ever. Anyway my daughter and niece heard the screaming and ran the rest of the way to the room with my niece saying she lost 10 years off her life because the screaming was so loud she thought someone got hurt... We were there the week of NYE and had the best view of the pre and day of NYE fireworks. Yes you also get a lovely view of the parking lot but really how much time do you spend in your room during the day to make the room choice unappealing. Because it was winter and became dark earlier we could eat dinner to Cinderella's castle changing colors. The room I believe was the first room just past the elevators. We have had the same room twice but I don't remember the number. Other than a Boardwalk Villa 2 bedroom BWV with roll in shower in my opinion best view with roll in shower on Disney property.

Thank for the thread... after looking through it I noticed no standard view HA rooms. is this the case? I just learned they dont have AKV value HA standard rooms beause of the size but cant imagine they wouldnt have standard HA rooms here because the rooms are all same size

I'm 99.9% certain that the only rooms at BLT that have roll in showers are Lakeview studio and 1BR's. No TPV or standard views do. And also no GV's have roll-in showers although they do have LV HA GV's with tub option.

I can't see how this is fair. Why should families with loved ones in wheelchairs not be give the same booking rights as those that dont. I understand the reason why we cant book a value room at AKV being the size is different but these rooms are the same size. Has anyone else questioned this before?? I called MS and the women I spoke with agreed with me but said I could always borrow or buy additional points.

I don't believe they are required to provide all view options - just to have the required percentage of rooms that are ADA compliant. And the BLT HA's all are on the North side with MK view. I have read of a couple people questioning and complaining - people who bought and were never even aware of this design decision. I personally don't agree with the decision but for accommodations I've never felt they devoted much thought to HA beyond what was the barest minimum. And they generally have some fairly poor design. At BWV the HA boardwalk view room (I believe it's 1 studio and 1 one bedroom in that category that are HA) are in the section with a solid balcony wall. Ummmmm - not really a good design for someone in their wheelchair. But I do think they have HA in all the view categories there. And usually, even though the bathrooms tend to have decent room, their designers seem to feel that places to set toiletries are not necessary. A sink with no shelves often is used instead of any sort of cabinet that can be rolled under. Or at least some shelves. For as good as Disney is with much of their accessibility their HA rooms are not their greatest strength.

Totally agree with you. Akv kidani is great. It's all bery fusterating.
