Can I ask how you got from BLT to the ship? We will have 4 adults and 3 kids and the price for Disney transportations is kinda steep? Thanks!

We were fortunate enough to have family drive us to the port. However on the way back we rented a car and that worked out fine. With as many people as you are having you would probably do best to rent a minivan.

Sounds fun so far - congrats on the weight loss!!!

I am so sorry to hear about your airport experience on the way home. We too have arrived at a gate to a crowd of people sitting in chairs. We were coming from our connecting flight, and we didn't realize they boarded the flight early. My husband asked the gate agents when we would board and they said they already had. Luckily for us, the doors were still open and we got on, but it is weird that they don't announce a "final boarding call".

Can't wait to read more.

Hi again! This post vacation let down it making is hard to write but I will press on. We are heading to Disney's HH next month so that is taking the edge off.

Anyways after we settled into our room which was about 3:30 pm we ate a quick snack and headed out to MK. We rode the monorail but didn't realize that you had to loop all the way around to get to the park.

MK was crowded even though the crowd calendar was 5. It was one of the parks that Touring Plans said to avoid, probably because it was Wishes night with extra magic hours, but because we had only one day at Disney thats where we wanted to go. Needless to say Touring Plans was correct and the park was crowded. The good news is that with a little strategy we did very well. Within the 6 hours we were there we saw 12 attractions and enjoyed a nice counter service meal. We use fastpass as much as we could and hit the other attractions in between at the times we found work the best. Here is the rundown.

1. We fast passed Space Mountain and returned at night. It was awesome.
2. Buzz Lightyear was a 15 minute wait. This ride need a little polishing.
3. Mickey's Philharmagic was a walk on. This attraction seemed dirty and needs attention.

The a big rainstorm hit so we stalled by hitting...

4. Its a small world which was a 10 minute wait.
5. Enjoyed dinner at Columbia Harbour House which was great.
6. Riverboat which was a walk on.

Somewhere around here we got fast passes for Peter Pan.
The rain let up but it didn't clear the crowds up.

6. The hall of presidents which was a walk on.
7. Splash Mountain has a 15 minute wait.
8. Used our Space Mountain Fast Pass
9. Used our Peter Pan Fastpass
10. Pirates which was a walk on. I find that night is the best time to walk on Pirates.
11. Thunder Mountian Railroad in the dark which was a 30 minute wait.
12. Watched some Spectromagic. A really good place to watch the parade on a hot day in in front of the Hall of Presidents Open Doors. The air conditioning chills everything in front of the attraction.
13. Winnie the Pooh which was a walk on. It usually is at the end of the night.

We also went in a few shops here and there. We crisscrossed alot but we like to walk and we don't like lines so it was worth it.

Anyways we did alot in a short period of time on a crowded day. It was a good time.

Then we walked home to BLT after a great day at MK!

We went in the hot tub, toured around, and went to the top of the building to hang out. It was nice.
