BLT Coffee Question

62 days to go until our stay at BLT, and making my grocery order list now.

We are in a 1BR and I can’t remember if paper (foam?) coffee cups/ lids are provided. I usually add them to the grocery order because we usually make our coffee and take a cup to go and I don’t remember them being provided.

Now I’m seeing more than one post on FB where people are packing stacks of hot cups to take home (because they have Mickey embossed on them). I’d rather not order some if they’re provided (but also don’t want to be unpleasantly surprised if this is not offered in DVC rooms).

Thanks! I'll stick with the original plan and order some. I think the ones I usually order look larger as well, and my DS6 is up at 6 AM ready to go, so I'll need the extra volume

We routinely stay in 1BR, and neither DH nor I remember ever having disposable cups in one, just regular mugs. So it’s probably a good idea to order some.

Thanks! I also only remember mugs. Maybe some disposable cups in a studio but like one or two, not the suitcase full I was seeing. I was wondering if I was remembering wrong. We usually stay at BCV or SSR but I’ve also stayed all over for cash reservations and don’t remember getting more than a disposable cup or two anywhere else either.

Definitely going to just order some.

Agreed. I think this is the new suitcase full of H2O products but I’m not even going to start that train rolling

The FB post was 2-3 rows of cups and a row of lids and a “does anyone else do this?!?!?!” and a chorus of responses from others who do. I’m all for saving a few dollars where we can but ooooooof.

Studios usually have disposable cups it was more than 2 as we made coffee a few morning for the extra 1/2 hour and the CS was no open when we left. I will add we do buy the mugs so it would have been paid for anyway or at least the stuff at the CS tasted better then the room coffee. Just my Dig at why they don't have at least coffee and muffins early........

We were just there in April in a 1 bedroom DVC rental and there were disposable cups with lids.

They aren't standard equipment in 1BR but housekeeping can usually provide. And if a previous guest requested some and didn't use all, I doubt housekeeping would just throw them away when cleaning room.

Good point about previous guests.
I have a thing about asking mousekeeping for pretty much anything (it’s me, this is completely a me problem.
Mostly a curiosity on my part.
