I am an OKW owner and have only stayed at OKW in their large villas. We are now considering going to BLT next January. In the master bedroom, there would be my me, my wife and 8 year old son. Will there be room on the bedroom floor for an aerobed for my son? In the second bedroom, there would be friends of ours consisting of mother, father and 3 kids ages 6-12. The second bedroom has a queen bed and double sleeper. I am guessing that one of the kids will have to sleep on the sleeper sofa in the family room. Am I thinking correctly? I am concerned about having so much less space at BLT but I want to try it since the reviews have been so great. Your thoughts are appreciated.

The master bedroom does not really have room for an air mattress. There is room between the bed and the patio doors leading out onto the balcony but it would be really tight.

ChiSox is correct. I'm not sure you can comfortably put an air bed in the master. However, the family room can sleep three easily. It has the sleeper sofa (2) as well as the sleeper chair (1).

I am trying to find a picture of the master bedroom but I can't seem to find one. Can someone direct me to one?

It doesn't sound like you've booked yet. If you reserve a Dedicated 2BR there will be two queen beds in the second bedroom - same as OKW. If you get a lock off then it will have the queen and the sleeper sofa.

Why not put a couple of the kids out on the sleeper sofa and sleeper chair in the living area?

I have to concur with the others the airmatress would be really tight in the master bedroom

Why not just get an OKW two bedroom? A BLT two bedroom is going to be much smaller than the OKW two bedroom and you are going to be tripping over everyone in the villa with four adults and four kids.

I wouldn't say they will be tripping over each other; that is a blatant over-exaggeration.. we had 7in a 2BR at BLT, 4 adults 2 teenagers the same size as adults and only child (7) and we were not tight on space whatsoever.

Compared to an OKW two bedroom, they will be tripping over everyone. The OP owns at OKW.

I just want to try somewhere different than OKW. I can probably bring the single sleeper chair into the master bedroom and my son can sleep on that. 2 queens in the second bedroom will work out great with one child sleeping in the family room. I don't plan on spending too much time in the resort since we will be at the parks most days.

Sleeper chairs are very heavy and awkward and not meant to be moved. If your son needs to sleep in the Master with you then you should bring the air mattress to try. Or maybe your family should take the 2nd bedroom with two beds and the other family could use the Master and living area for sleeping.

I'll second this. They are very heavy and will damage the walls and door frames. They are not meant to be moved around. You'll need to leave the furniture where it is and make do as is.

And I also think there's next to no chance there would be enough room in the Master for it. There isn't much room around the bed.

I know there were two or three posts on a different thread that said they used an air mattress between the MBR bed and the balcony window at BLT. They said it did make it hard to walk around that side of the bed. However, during the day they just set the air mattress up on it's side.

The living room area will sleep three, two on the pull out couch and one on the sleeper, I would think your child and some of the others could sleep out there.

You should have plenty of room. Two adults in the master, two adults and two children in the 2nd bedroom, and two children in the living room. Though not as big as OKW, we thought BLT felt very spacious. Enjoy!
