We were there last weekend May 13-16 for the D23 event. We had a standard room and were in 7140. This is on the first floor and an excellent room! We would totally request this location again. It's a standard but really partial lake view towards the marina and boat dock. We could watch the Electrical Water Pageant from our patio. There were also only 2 rooms past us in the hall so it was very, very quiet. Not much foot traffic going by the patio door either. However. I REALLY WISH THEY WOULD GET SHEARS for the window. Several times I had near flashes to unsuspecting folks outside but when you closed the drapes the room was pitch black!

I didn't mind the sink layout before but I like the improvement, however you really have no counter space in the bathroom. No issues with space or storage (we only had carryons) and we loved being so close to run over to the main building to go to the Contempo. It was also only minutes to get to the convention centre for seminars.

We had a rental car this trip and the parking at BLT is so handy which is a plus.

I like the pool here but I find it a little sterile. I know it fits the theme but I really wish it were a little more landscaped/lush.

We really enjoyed the Destination D event, they did a great job and the closing night concert was amazing! We also had a great meal at Narcoosees (where we had never eaten) and at the new Hacienda in Mexico.

Overall a great trip, I like BLT more than my first visit but I would still pick our home VWL first in the MK area.

I did notice a lot of wear and tear on the dark furniture like many others have mentioned, the veneer shows every little nick and scratch. And also DH cut his hand open on the nightstand thing attached to the wall. Right open and bleeding, the corner was razor sharp and he said "I can't imagine what that would do to a kids forehead if they fell"

I don't have any questions, but I was also there for the D23 event and stayed right across the hall from you in 7141. I agree with you on the window shears, especially when you are on the ground floor.

Too funny! I'm sure we passed each other frequently. We loved the location.

Yes. I could sit there and watch people playing bocce right in front of our patio.

This was my 4th time staying at BLT. I've had all different views. The ground floor courtyard view didn't bother me so much because I was mostly using the room to "crash" between sessions. If I were staying longer and were spending more time in the room, I would have preferred a different view.
