Bloody Marys

I admit I am addicted!! Lol I have my DH buy his vodka and I buy mine! And it is always there when I need it since as you said it doesn't go in anything else (that I can think if anyway )

Funny thing is I can't drink
tomato juice plain! But I will be adding some pickles next time! Never heard of A-1 but it makes sense.

Additional thought - has anyone had a good bloody Mary at WDW?

OMG! Pepperocinis! I forgot to add Pepperocinis! See what I mean about it being able to drink your dinner?

And if you want my opinion...when you are going for the pickles...Claussen kosher dill juice is the best!

I use mix and doctor it up with lots of horseradish, worchestershire (can't say it or spell it), lime and lemon juice, olive juice, absolut pepper vodka, salt and the key ingredient celery salt!! I like mine to basically taste like I am drinking cocktail sauce what better way to garnish then with a skewer if veggies and shrimp!! Also don't forget to rim your glass with salt, pepper and celery salt!!

Great now I am craving one!!!!

I have never thought of adding pickles or pickle juice!!! Will have to try that next time!

Have you tried Absolut Pepper vodka?

I like the Claussen pickles in mine

I just whipped up a Bloody . I am out of Vodka though so it is a Virgin Bloody. I added pickle juice, that's pretty good

Mrs. T's Bold and Spicy, liberal application of celery salt. One restaurant we go to on occasion adds a spiced beef stick to their Bloody Mary's-VERY good!!

I keep meaning to look up a similar drink we had in Canada. I think they called it a Canadian Mountie or something like that. It was very good. Anyone ever heard of that?

Bloody Casear? It has Clamato juice rather than tomato juice.

Clamato juice is basically tomato juice with clam juice in it.

we use the Bold and Spicy, too. Have you ever been to Al Baker's in Eagan? They have an amazing (and well doctored with lots of veggies and meat and cheeses) Bloody Mary!

I have been told I make the best Bloodys...everyone has me make theirs. First I salt the rim with celery salt, and then I fill the glass with ice, add tobasco, horseradish, worchestershire, salt and pepper, lemon juice, pickle juice, then the vodka and then the mix. Top with olives. And I love celery sticks in there, too!

I use the spicy V8 as well and doctor it up a bit with extra horseradish, celery salt and tabasco. Using the V8 convinces me I'm also getting my daily servings of vegetables! Boy, could I go for one right now!
